The Adventure

When my husband and I met, we both had the dream of moving to an exotic country and living the life of a local. We both enjoy taking the path that is less traveled and are always on the lookout for new adventures. After getting married in 2014, we decided to move south to sunny San Diego. William got a job at Qualcomm working as a software engineer, while I had the luxury of spending my days pursuing hobbies and working at the polo grounds in Del Mar. Over the past year, San Diego has definitely grown on me more than I expected, and I have made a lot of great friends along the way! As much as we have enjoyed our time in San Diego, we were ready for a big life change. Something to spice things up a bit. With no kids or any major responsibilities in our lives, we decided that now was the perfect time to make that big move. Having been to South America once already, and loving it, it was an easy decision to head back there. We bought one-way tickets to Buenos Aires, Argentina and I couldn’t be more excited! We have planned a good portion of our trip, but we have also left a lot to the unknown. What I learned from my previous travels is that the unplanned excursions always end up being the best. If you plan your trip down to the last minute, having every detail sorted out, it can be a little disappointing. It also leaves you with little, if any, flexibility. So this time around, we have mapped out a general outline of our agenda and will let fate decide the rest! Under the “Adventure” tab, you will find our route, gear, logistics, monies, and other details about our trip. It’s a work in progress and we will continue to update it as needed! We hope you enjoy – cheers!
